River Gradac is 100 km (90 minutes drive) away from Belgrade. Transport from Belgrade to Valjevo could be arranged by us, in a price of no more than 120 euro for max 3 persons. Visitors can also rent a car, or take the bus from Belgrade to Valjevo, where we will be waiting for you.
River Gradac flows through the town of Valjevo and flows into the river Kolubara. It is a national park under the protection of the state and thus one of the most famous and purest “fly fishing” rivers in Serbia with an abundance of fauna and flora. Gradac almost never blurs, because it is 10km long. Indigenous species of fish include river trout and grayling. It is the home of the biggest brown trout, 60cm length!
Visitors can enjoy a day full of activities, like fly fishing, fly ting-etnomologia, horse-riding, mountain bike, free climbing and birdwatching. They can also explore the surrounding canyon and its caves, go for a long walk or have a nice picnic by the river! There is also the possibility of visiting other rivers in the nearby area. In the vicinity (20-30km) there are several unprotected streams, like Scrapez, Rogacica and Tresnjica, which are home for the wild trout. 70 km away from Valjevo flows river Drina , famous for its capital (hucko-hucko) graylings, but also for the hydro-electric power station Perucac. Water level oscillates often and because of that we can't guarantee a successful fishing. These visits costs an extra 80 euros + guide expenses and are organized as an one day tour.
